I'd rather have the 3pay payg £25 option for three months, unlimited texts for £25, free 3 to 3 calls, 150mb data allowance, free skype plus the £25 credit to spend as I wish.

But it only gets you 125 min of calls - less than 42 mins a month.

Although I guess you could use another mobile that could actually have coverage and calls cost less - like the 8p a min Asda one.

I've never once had a problem with 3's coverage, all around Scotland, including the little dark area's on Skye which is notoriously bad for coverage. All throughout England and Wales has been fine for me too. Decent deal if you just want sim only.

Why is 3 so bad!? They have Orange as a roaming partner, surely if your a texter there is nothing wrong with this deal, if you have problems with them, leave them, this isin't a long contract.

But if you want lots of texts then why not!?

I've had far more problems over the last 12 months with Orange than I ever had with Three - I'll be swapping back ASAP

"Leave Them" Easier said than done it took 2 calls and being transferred about 5 times and 48 minutes for me to get a PAC code to transfer my husbands phone number from Three to Virgin.

I am interested in this deal for my daughter - she has a Sony Ericsson W580i unlocked. Will a 3 sim work in this phone?

Three is very good if you get good signal in your area.

Just pray nothing goes wrong. Because, if it does, you'll come up against the Mumbai Call Centre. They'd be really funny if you didn't have to rely on them for customer service.

Main reason I left them....they are HOPELESS

NEVER had any problems with coverage

been on 3 for 3 years and they've been fine

My friend had a 3 phone, and when we were out his Mrs couldn't get hold of him because of no signal on 3 all the time, he considered this an advantage. Then his Mrs started phoning me and his other mates to get hold of him, because our other network phones always worked. He also used to have to borrow our phones when he needed to make a call - great way to save on minutes. Three are very cheap to run phones because they can't be used much!

Anyway, he has given up now and changed to another network.

Me too. Very helpful call centre staff, great coverage and you can really barter with them for a good deal.

Just got a free Nokia 6220, 300 mins, unlimited texts, 25 video minutes, 25 MMS AND £5 free downloads on a 12 month contract. All for £5 a month.

Let me see any other network offer you that

How do you manage that? Every time I go through retentions I end up with no offer better than new customers get...
