what you get

For £49 (a £119 value) sign up for a whole year of benefits with an annual premiere gift membership to OTL London — The Comp Ticket Underground—with two tickets per event (for unlimited events).
You can also get in on the action with a three-month membership.
Get tickets to a wide range of exciting theatre performances, music events, comedy shows and festivals.
No additional fees required.
That special someone deserves a gesture a little grander than socks again this year. Instead, wrap a big bow around the city of London with an annual premiere gift membership to OTL London — The Comp Ticket Underground, and give them a 2015 they'll never forget. Members will get tickets to a wide range of exciting theatre performances, music events, comedy shows and festivals. Receive a number of other benefits including a two-week guest pass to another city, access to the member rewards program and a free Las Vegas VIP concierge. If that wasn't enough, purchasers will also receive a three-month membership themselves, so they can get in on the action as well.

How it works?
When venues and events have unsold seats to fill, they turn to the Comp Ticket Underground, and OTL then pass those seats onto their members — meaning you'll never pay for a ticket — only your membership. All you need to do is make your reservation online, show up to the venue with your ID and you're in. Just make sure not to tell the people behind you in the queue — they probably paid a lot more than you did.

Sounds like it could be a recipe for frustration at not being able to get tickets when you want to go and see something. The more people that sign up for this, the fewer opportunities are available and the longer the queues to disappointment! Has anyone got any experience of this who can vouch that is is a viable offer?

An absolute waste of money. In 3 months they haven't had one decent event. It's all comedy shows or basketball games. Don't waste your money here.
