Cheaper at ICbreakdown. Used them twice already, no complain. http://breakdown.insurancechoice.co.uk/pages/363 No need for cashback as well

True - but it's comparing Apples to Oranges - for AA cover this is cheap.

This is a decent price for AA breakdown, but the smart money wouldnt be on them in the first place. MSE has an excellent article on the cheapest breakdown cover. sorry - voted cold.

typical i paid £100 back in jan for breakdown and home start, though that was cheap, as cashback was £50 too but it didn't track, still too early to submit an enquiry :(

Good deal, as long as Quidco pays out.

Always do homework first:

Also look at Quidco offers!

Mitsubishi owners that get their car serviced by the main dealer (out of warranty) can get full cover for just £18

Why are people voting this cold? This is fab, esp for home start and relay! I signed up with the AA through Quidco and they paid up no probs. Heat added.

Interesting summary from the above link:

"A couple wanting recovery & tow, relay cover and home-start from the AA would normally pay around £150. Yet AutoAid provides the same for just £37 a year, around half the price even of the AAs' basic cover."

i need to sort out some new recovery plan after mine just ended

Dont forgret with Autoaid you need to pay and then claim it back, not ideal if you are short of money to pay the recovery truck.

Sometimes its cheaper adding it to your car insurance, i get full RAC cover for free with my M+S car insurance

I checked out Green Flag this morning.

Rescue Plus - £61.95 with £30 Quidco = £31.95.

I've been with GF for about 10 years with no complaints

Don't forget those who have pay for bank accounts its part of the package (advantage, royalties etc).

Beware I did this a year or so back.
It tracked through quidco but the AA refused to pay!

i wouldnt touch the aa - hadnt used them for 11 months, then wifes car battery was a little flat but car was at home.....this was during the snow...phoned aa and they said they were too busy and if i could call the next day....wtf....."i said er no, i have your top package if you dont come today i will demand a full refund"...they were reluctantly with me in 40 mins...

My renewal quote came through the post from AA for £141 for joint cover, when i checked with there website it was only £121 for joint cover. I phonned to complain on the Sunday and they said they would price match this and sombody would phone me back on the Monday to take payment. In the mean time i checked quidco and they where paying £50 cashback. So when the AA phonned on the Monday i mentioned this, to which there reply was you need to be a new customer. Fine i said cancel my account i will start a new account in my wife name online using quidco. The line went quiet for 30sec and then the operator came back on the line saying how does £81 sound for joint cover., which i paid. How many customers must they lose because of there stupid greed!!!!!!!!!

I'm still waiting for the AA to call me back from 19 December 2009 when they took my number as they were literally "snowed under" with calls (to match the weather conditions across the UK). I had a question about adding multiple vehicles to the same policy when buying online.

The last time my policy was renewed it was "the member" who was covered in the event of breakdown/recovery in any vehicle they were travelling within. The policy terms have now changed so that you have explicitly named vehicles & you have to add additional vehicles you have use of to the policy or else the cover is not valid.

I could not find anyway to do this when renewing &/or commencing a new policy online, hence my call to enquire.

A manager was going to ring me back in 10 minutes.
