Just a quick note, this appears to be the cheapest with amazon, however they will not be dispached for 2-5 weeks, which is quite a while.
The AA have them in stock delivered within 2 days, although there is 3.75 delivery, you get 70p off with a code that is kindly pre added at checkout. making them £10.04
(winterdriving was the code i think)http://shop.theaa.com/store/other/aa-snow-ice-grips
In any case you can either go for quick or cheap, bearing in mind in 5 weeks it will be january. The main reason for the post is because they are a good idea and fairly cheap compared to a broken wrist, considering the amount of people currently filling A+E's across the country. if anyone knows where you can get these in store, please let me know.
"The AA Snow & Ice Grips offer 7 steel studs per cleat which provide excellent traction whilst walking, ideal for keeping your footing in winter snow and ice conditions in short journies.
The AA Snow & Ice Grips are lightweight and compact so you are able to keep them in your car or in a bag ready to tackle the Snow and Ice currently facing the UK. The AA Snow & Ice Grips are easy to fit with a single pull velcro strap and are ideally worn on the ball of your foot. While wearing the snow grips, please ensure they are tight and secure at all time
One size fits all."
