good find when you see the price of the shovel on its own
#2
lol yep your right!
#3
But we rarely get snow in this country................... oh.
#4
but when we do everyhting seems to grind to a halt and the lame excuses I cant get to work start :P
#5
Snow shovel? It looks like a camping poo shovel!
#6
seems a bit extreme tbh i'll pass but seems good if ur in scotland or something
#7
think youll need a bigger shovel than that in scotland
#8
thanks been waiting for this to come back in stock - piece of mind for £16
#9
A shovel with a straight edge is best. This one is pointed.
#10
Not too sure what use the shovel is?
Get out, put on high-vis vest. Shovel snow for half an hour clearing six feet. Get in, drive six feet, repeat.....

I propose selling a new kit. Contains: Flare gun, half-bottle of whisky, cyanide capsule.

Worth having for safest sake too. I always carry a florescent jacket, torch, red triangle, gloves and a first aid kit you never know if you might need it. All I got missing is the folding shovel which I carry a coal shovel at mo
#12
That looks more like an entrenching tool - sharpen the edge and give Jerry a good seeing to!
#13
Great for those with a wee bit of snow, but for us in Scotland we need a JCB to dig us out before we can reach roads that are closed :-)

Good price and handy tho', so heat from me

I bought this shovel from B&Q last night.
Had a 15% voucher so was £9.33ish
Got a flat edge so much better in the snow (not that I've had chance to test it yet!)

EDIT: Link doesn't work, search for 'car shovel' on diy.com to find it.

Thanks :-)

That shovel plus a vest for £2 off ebay will do me, got to be so much better than the crappy torch (if it works) and rubbish spades in these kits.

Ironically it'll never get delivered in time because of the snow :/
#17
The shovel in that kit looks terrible. The B&Q one linked above is FAR better. No contest. You also might want a cheap brush and pan, throw away the pan and keep the brush in your boot.

Search for "B&Q Soft Dustpan & Brush" (£1.50).
