If you are lucky enough to have money to invest in tax free savings via a cash ISA or have an existing cash ISA offering poor rates such as most of those offered by the banks and Building Societies recently bailed out by the tax payer this could be the product for you.

Several other institutions offer somewhat better rates, but these are normally with long tie-in periods or from banks not covered by the FSCS.

3% if you have 9K in an ISA to transfer, tax free of course - there were better rates, but it seems this is as good as ISAs get at the moment, as the M&S & Scottish Widows ones have dropped their rates now that everyone has transferred their money into them! Pity that moving ISAs is so slow and drawn out :-(

Natwest had Cash ISA + @ 3.51% until recently and they've withdrawn it too.

I have never understood this. Correct me if I am wrong.
We get 2 or 3% WOW interest on our money but the financial scumbags charge us like 35% or 40% interest on a credit card??? So why do people get excited about 2 or 3%? Unless I am not understanding it. We must be sheep!

Meh,

There are quite a few around this amount. The Lloyds fixed rate ISA is 3% if you have £9000 and 3.2% if you have £30000. Also withdrawal penalties aren't as bad (90 days interest on the ammount withdrawn).

You're right, but they have to pay for their plush offices and massive bonuses somehow!
