Great for all you die hard rock fans! Discount will be applied in basket. Just released today ....

Rock Band: AC/DC Live is a whole new way for music fans to experience rock's most timeless and hardest hitting act. Featuring 18 tracks from AC/DC's epic, live performance at Castle Donington in 1991, the standalone game allows players to experience the glory of playing live on stage virtually just like AC/DC, one of the greatest rock bands of all time. In addition, all 18 original live tracks on the Rock Band: AC/DC Live soundtrack can be exported to Rock Band and Rock Band 2 for play in all game modes including World Tour and Battle of the Bands Challenges.

This is going to be a really noddy question but will this work with the Guitar hero 3 controller ?

Check this out. I would assume this is the same as Rock Band 2 for the purposes of checking compatibility

Additional info posted on a forum:

GUITARS
The guitars addressed here are: Rock Band 1 Stratocaster, Rock Band 2 Stratocaster, Guitar Hero 3 Les Paul and Guitar Hero World Tour guitar. Third party guitars have compatibility information on their websites.

Guitars compatible with Rock Band 1: Rock Band 1 Stratocaster, Rock Band 2 Stratocaster

Guitars compatible with Rock Band 2: Rock Band 1 Stratocaster, Rock Band 2 Stratocaster, Guitar Hero 3 Les Paul and most likely Guitar Hero World Tour guitar (evidenced by it working with the Les Paul compatible AC/DC track pack)

Guitars compatible with Guitar Hero 3: Guitar Hero 3 Les Paul, Guitar Hero World Tour guitar

Guitars compatible with Guitar Hero World Tour: Guitar Hero 3 Les Paul, Guitar Hero World Tour guitar

NOTE: No instruments except for the microphone are cross-platform. Only Wii guitars will work with Wii games.

DRUMS
Drum sets addressed are: Rock Band 1 Drum Set, Rock Band 2 Drum Set, Guitar Hero World Tour Drum Set

Drum sets compatible with Rock Band 1: Rock Band 1 Drum Set, Rock Band 2 Drum Set

Drum sets compatible with Rock Band 2: Rock Band 1 Drum Set, Rock Band 2 Drum Set (World Tour Drum Set does not work with the AC/DC track pack, so we can extrapolate that it won't work with the final game)

Drum sets compatible with Guitar Hero World Tour: Guitar Hero World Tour Drum Set

Once again, the drums are not cross-platform.

MICROPHONES
As long as a microphone connects via USB, it should work absolutely fine. No matter whether it came in a 360 or PS3 bundle, it'll still work for Wii. However, some third-party microphones apparently do not work, but I don't know which ones.

CONNECTION
The Guitar Hero guitars and drums all require a Wiimote each to be used, while the Rock Band guitars and drums don't, connecting either wirelessly or via wires. All microphones require a Wiimote.
