No that one is slightly different, see the dials are not the same and this one doesn't have the date window.

nice, been looking for a half decent looking watch for a wee while

ordered :)
#6
So tempting.

Now if it had a stainless steel strap it would be a bargain, the leather fooks up after a while...

So no good really... :(

I agree. The strap really devalues it!

Some great reviews of it through here http://reviews.argos.co.uk/1493-en_gb/2833440/reviews.htm

Jeezo people, some of you are hard to please. I've got something similar and paid £45 for it from Argos and at that price it was an absolute bargain. I've had it for more than 6 months, wear it every day and love it to bits

This is hot!

I agree. I prefer a metal strap because I can keep it on all the time, having to take off a leather or other material strap whilst washing and showering is just too much for me to remember (honestly! I hate having a damp watch strap on all day)

Still a good deal +heat

Decent deal for this watch. Not 100% keen on leather straps either but will buy anyway as it's a nice alternative to my usual watch. Heat added.

This watch would go nice with the Burton Suit that got Scorchio hot the other week.................

Cheers

hot- ordered!

Nice
#25
can the strap not be replaced with a metal one?
#26
the case is bit smaller for me. 40mm approx.
#27
that's my point, why waste £30 on an accurist?

It's a watch that tells the time and looks reasonable for £30. How is that a waste? oO

I'd argue that spending £2K+ on a watch that doesn't tell the time as well (mechanical mechanism), needs regular and expensive servicing and does nothing more than the above is considerably more of a waste! ;)

You can buy replacement straps for under £10 in pretty much any style you like. I've had a leather strap on the watch I wear daily for over a year and there are still no signs of wear. I'd be surprised if I had to replace the strap every 3 years, so it's hardly a reason not to buy the watch, in my opinion.

only thing holding me back is it doesnt display the date. otherwise, great deal.
#31
great looking watch, dont mind the leather strap
#32
I prefer leather straps to metal. They just pull the hairs out of my wrist.
#34
Where can I get nice glossy metal strap for this watch pls?
#35
Link does work , just do the top line of link not both .
Casio wave ceptor I have , cracking watch & tells the right time .

Hi, its not easy because the width at the point betweent the lugs on the watch where the pin goes is only 14mm, then the rest of the strap is wider i.e it sticks out more than the end, if you just got a 14mm replacement strap then it would look very narrow.
