TODAY ONLY PAGE HERE: http://www.scan.co.uk/todayonly/index.aspx#7

It's just a few screens down the Today Only page under the heading 'Monitors' and the subheading 'LED Monitors'.

See here for details of how to get free delivery: http://forums.hexus.net/general-discussion/138834-scan2hexus-free-shipping-setup-guide.html

It's the cheapest full HD LED monitor you'll find at the moment... It been on Scan's Today Only many times now at about this price, so it will most likely be on again if you miss it.

You can pick this monitor up for around this price at one or two places if you search Google Products (but they're currently out of stock).

Scan's site says 2 years warranty, though Acer's site says this: "three year carry-in warranty".

Here's a link to the product's page on Scan (but to get it for the quoted price you need to add it to your basket via the Today Only page): http://www.scan.co.uk/products/215-acer-s221hqlbd-led-full-hd-black-widescreen-monitor-5ms-1920x1080-120000001-250cd-m

I just realised that this monitor has been here posted before on HUKD but from Crescent Electronics (which was one of the sites I found sold it for cheap on Google Products) but they're out of stock, £2 more and possibly charge for delivery.

One unique thing with this monitor which you don't get with any other monitor that you can find at this price is the DVI output, although VGA's fine (which is all my LCD's got) the cables do ghost easily, and most graphics cards these have only DVI output (meaning you have to purchase a DVI to VGA adaptor, etc, etc).

Have fun :3

I got the Acer 24 which was on here the other week from Scan and I am well impressed. More than enough quality for the price paid.

I just don't trust Acer

I just don't trust Acer

I've had a 19" sceen for years and no trouble at all or is this a deeper mis-trust! X)

Just got a £90 h235h 23" from Acer with touchscreen at side - actually soooooo impressed with it, no problems with Acer myself :D
#7
Where did you purchase the 23" model?

Probably used.

ebuyer - wasn't used, fully brand new no problems, fully packaged no faults, all plastic protector films still in place.

there were only 30 avaliable though - and free delivery took 10 days, but a fantastic 1080p monitor (bought it for gaming) with HMDI input and I'm in love with it. I'd go for 23" over 21.5 if you can find the h235h on sale in the next couple of weeks for <£100

What's the chances of getting that monitor within a month or so? Really want something in excess of 21-22 ideally 24+
#13
Not sure, you can keep looking at the deal section on ebuyer and google shopping for cheap prices, even £110 is a fantastic price for it... good luck!
#14
Yeah all the monitor deals on ebuyer were a hit and miss that week tbh, some were getting through some were cancelled.
#15
Bargin. Well spec'ed monitor.

From original post..."TODAY ONLY PAGE HERE: http://www.scan.co.uk/todayonly/index.aspx "
"It's just less than half the way down the Today Only page (though because it's Friday the deal will last over the weekend...) under the heading 'Monitors' and the subheading 'LED Monitors'"
"...to get it for the quoted price you need to add it to your basket via the Today Only page..."

I must admit Acer let me down on some netbooks I bought and they were not helpful - in act unhelpful. I guess we all remember the bad ones - I'm sure they have satisfied customers as well.

Shame no HDMI. But still hot price.

It's true, a lot of acer laptops are of limited quality, but their monitor's are probably a completely different from a completely different design section/factory etc etc. In fact, if it's anything like bicycles, they're probably all made by Samsung or LG and just given an Acer badge...

Agree, Ebuyer cancelled a monitor for me the other week; they also charged my credit card and had to make various phone calls to sort it out. Total waste of my time, shocking company.

Wow I'm surprised :o I have never had any problems with Scan (only with CityLink who lost a parcel (who Scan aren't using any more)), and the free delivery is next day! o.O
