Just the stand that puts me off, with no VESA mounting to change it.

Great price for a budget 1440p screen though.

The 60Hz refresh rate of this monitor is not widely advertised (not on box.co.uk or two other sites I looked at). Response rate is strangely advertised at either 4 ms or 6 ms. This will be good for word processing but I think 1440p on a screen this size might require use of Windows scaling so that things aren't too small.

Wrong. If anything, 'things' will be too big.

How is this monitor compared to the Dell U2515h? Is anyone using it with a macbook pro?

Thanks in advance

No, desktop icons would be smaller on the QHD monitor than a FHD monitor. Lower PPI and all that. Not sure what he was saying before about the response time

PS4 Pro only outputs at either 1080p or 4K; no support for 1440p so it'll look just like a bogstandard 1080p monitor

That's a funny way of saying 900p upscaled. :p

That is a nice price, especially for an IPS panel. I paid a lot more a few years ago for a 27" QHD monitor.

Depending on your preference, you can either run this monitor at 100% scaling to get more space, or at 125% scaling to get sharper text (but hardly more space than Full HD).

Of course for a bit more money, you can get a 4k monitor with 26" or 28", but that would not be IPS.

Lol. Everything will be unbearably titchy. You don't need this many dots on a 24" screen, I don't even appreciate 1440p on my 27" that much more than the 1080p screens either side of it.

tempted... this is 250 at scan... do i need a new monitor... no.... hmmmm when i cant sleep i end up spending... heat either way :p

Wow. I bought this in April 2015 for £220 and it's actually taken this long to (really) drop in price. I gave up waiting for a triple monitor setup but it was really tempting at the time.

For the monitor itself, the picture is really crisp and clear due to the high pixel density. 4GB of GDDR should be fine for driving this monitor as I've used it with a 980 without lag (untested with AAA titles like Doom on that system though).
I don't personally use it with any scaling and I can happily read text clearly on the screen but it might be small for some as 21-24" is often seen with 1920x1080. I've heard a lot of people say that 27" is more for 2560x1080.

It is a matter of taste. I do appreciate 1700p on my laptop and 4k on my desktop, and I do not want to go back to a screen where I can see individual pixel.

It's a decent monitor, i bought it when Scan had it on sale for £119. Only issue is DPI Scaling, most programs look too big and blurry unless you choose to disable dpi scaling on that particular program.

I might agree on a linux or mac machine used for productivity software and web browsing (though I'd certainly not pay over the odds for more than 100ppi), but on a general purpose windows machine, especially if you play games too, the UI scaling options are non existent or insufficient :/

True. I would not recommend this for gaming, either, partly because it is an IPS panel. My IPS monitor is stunningly beautiful, but certainly not the fastest.

Anyone has any ideia if this screen would be a good option for photo editing?
It does have 100% rgb, but I wonder how well calibrated it is...
