Thats correct I suspect it comes with a DVI port with hdcp

#5
if you read the review some people are saying that there is no DVI connection
#6
thats strange
Unless they quoted the wrong part number.
The only way to find out is to ask amazon does it come with dvi
#7
I'm reading this web page on this monitor which I bought from Amazon in March for £108.99. It does not have DVI.

Still a good monitor if all you need is VGA, but the included cable is awful.
#8
only VGA port - DOES NOT come with DVI nor HDMI:x
#9
For £123.00 and only VGA?? why it is getting hot? Surely you can get a 24" for 139.99 BenQ!!! DVI HDMI
#10
so no dvi/hdmi, then it is not blu ray compatible, bit dodgy advertising that
#11
No DVI or HDMI cold as ice
#12
I just paid £129 from comet for this and I really like it. As a monitor the picture is crisp and sharp and I have no complaints. Hot.

Can you guys stop whining about lack of HDCP?
Why don't you just use Any DVDHD to bypass the HDCP requirement?

I wish this monitor was 1920x1200 - would have been tempted then.

Just cos a monitor doesn't have a DVI or HDMI port it can still output a 1080p signal . There seems to be a misconception that VGA is not HD. The only difference is VGA does not support HDCP and like the guy said above AnyDVD HD software can bypass it. If you're watching MKV rips too then there is no HDCP to bypass!

Because Any DVDHD doesn't come for free. It *starts from* €63. So if you're buying a monitor with a view for viewing Blu-ray movies then you're much better finding one with HDCP already built in without the need for additional (expensive) software.

not really my point, the term "1080p HD" is actually a ratified standard that include hdcp, to advertise it as such is very misleading.
Please stop defending this.

well that seems a bit silly as another thread has this at [email protected], so not really hot anymore anyway
