Just saw this 4GB, Core i3 Acer latpop at £399 but with 5% basket code brings it down to just £379.99. Great deal and just bagged myself one during lunch.

Also on another note you can get 3% cash back through Quidco which knocks off just over another £10.

Good shout Barmy, can't believe I didn't do that!

Seen a few core i3 laptops dropping to £400, but this seems to be the only one with 4GB ram at the moment.

Had a look and it is at PCWorld and Currys as well.

Tempting

A cracking deal for a good spec. laptop.
Dedicated gamers would not expect this
to suit their needs but it will do very
well for all day to day jobs.

Code?

Would jump at a 13" i3 at this price! Unfortunately I have a bugbear for numpads and decentralised touch pads - but won't complain at this price, HEAT!

whats the discount code

Found code for anyone interested it is SAVE5

Still dont understand why this isnt hotter, with the 5% basket code and then 3% quidco (off the original £400 price, brings it down to £367.99

Hi...tried to reserve this for collect at store through currys (same company) but can't find where to enter code for 5% off...does anybody know if it's possible?
cheers

hi, just used this deal and instead of the save5 code used 25POUND as you can guess it knocked off £25 reducing it to £374.99

i ordered one a couple of days ago. i followed a special offer link from quidco to get the 5% plus 3.5% cashback. im pretty sure that offer expired on the 22nd though . but seeing as someone has cracked a £25 pound code anyway , "jobs still a good un if you ask me " :-)

save5 is added automatically now and won't let you remove from checkout. it then says 25pound isn't valid.

Just bought the 5820T which I think is the model up from this at £499 in Argos- it was £650 on Amazon but I have found it at about £580 elsewhere - deal breaker for me was I could put it on the argos credit card and had 9 months interest free

Tempted but how much worse is acer as a brand compared to say, Samsung?

I bought the same spec a few weeks ago in a Toshiba laptop for £489, is a Tosh worth that much more, don't think so. Hot.

Back in the day maybe sadly not anymore

I’m starting to get the impression that there isn’t much difference between the different makes of laptop and the durability of all of them is declining.
