'Extreme Budget Gaming Laptop'
Unique selling point:
sub-£350 laptop that can run Crysis at a playable framerate (just)!

If you can look beyond the fact it's a refurb. and an Acer, the spec. is unmatchable in this price bracket.
As it's a refurb, stock is likely extremely limited. (though they have atleast 3)
Also don't forget quidco cashback of 3.2%, which knocks another £11 off!

This laptop appeared on here a few months ago for £20 more.

Links to details of the various components:

T6400, 1316 in passmark, 85th in notebookchecks benchmark table

9600M GS, scores ~8000 in 3dmark2005, notebookcheck puts it toward the bottom of the class 2 gpus.
From information provided the last time this laptop was posted on here, it appears the graphics card actually comes with 512mb of memory rather than the advertised 256mb.

Also probably worth mentioning that it has a 12month warranty from Dixons, and in the event you are dissatisfied with it you can always return it to a Dixons store. (so no risk of having to pay return postage costs)

Before anyone accuses me of plagiarism, yes, I stole the images and the system spec, details from an ebay auction!
Seems it's the most reliable place to get the exact specs of laptops these days.....
Most retailers & manufacturers should be ashamed of their websites technical inaccuracies :(

It would appear there are now exactly 2 left! (trying to add a 3rd to my basket triggered the OOS error)

So, I guess it'll be the people burning the midnight oil that have first dibs on this particular deal ^_^

Perhaps the bank has flagged it as an irregular purchase, so has blocked it pending authorization from you?
This has happened to me several times; they always phoned me within 24hours to authorize it.

Might not be this ofcourse...

Acer are already crap enough as it is, is it really wise to get an acer refurb?

The answer is no.
