No HDMI seems a rather odd omission for a full HD monitor

Not supporting 240v is an odder omission. X)

Great monitor for the price, I got 2 of them a few weeks ago. I'm not worried about lack of HDMI as I have separate speakers and just use DVI for connectivity.

DVI performs the same as HDMI and they probably save $0.05c by not having to pay an HDMI licence fee. HDMI offers sound as well as vision but unless this has speakers it won't be a problem. DVI to HDMI cables are super cheap so it shouldn't pose a real problem
