Phenom Quad Core = 1st generation Phenom? I won't take it.

Had one and sent it back, these machines are nasty. After a week of using it simply wouldn't display a video signal despite switching screens, cable it ended up with a motherboard needing fixing.

well you should try win 7 then, i'm sure you'll think again

Looking for something similar but without monitor or OS, good deal though

i used vista for 18 months

since i swapped to windows 7 not found any programs that won't work at all

vista is poor compared to 7

How do you add to basket? Is it out of stock?
#12
It stinks, old phenom maybe quad core but slow as hell, any current dual core would kill it. But wait it got a free monitor! look at the resolution of the thing damn

I assume 'all in one' is scanner printer copier.

Windows 7 trounces Vista at everything.

had a blonde moment lol. In fairness its not always MS`s fault, if your OEM wont give driver support.

for me i used wista once, hate it, windows 7 finally knocked me off xp..............

As long as you have ample supply of RAM Vista should run just fine.

I ran it from Beta until the Win 7 Beta was out & never really had any problems - a few BSoD's, but got them figured out.
I did have 8GB of RAM, so I don't think it'll run great with only 3GB.

It will 100% run fine with 3GB of ram. It's absurd to think otherwise. Anyway out of the box Vista will more than run fine with 3GB.

vista is the whole reason why OEM`s supplied new machines with 3gb ram..........

but surely thats the whole point, windows seven will easily outperform vista with less ram, so more ram means even better performance.

vista is basically old hat now, dont get e wrong people will still use it , but its going the same way as windows ME.

I definitely agree that Windows 7 is better than Vista. However there's no reason why Vista won't perform well on this setup. Many of these systems are full of pre-installed rubbish which uses resources.
