I'd rather Windows, much more flexible.

With 2Gb Ram a Celeron N3050 and 32Gb eMMC windows will be as flexible as a brick...on lower spec hardware like this Chrome OS excels...

Yeah but you need more than double the specs to run it as well.

A new 13" 1080P is on its way http://www.androidauthority.com/acer-chromebook-r13-specs-price-launch-713531/
Be happy! ;)

Until you get to "Prices for the Acer Chromebook R13 will start at $400 for the 16GB memory option."

Yeah, I saw that price too. If the reviews are good, I'll think hard about getting it. About 90% of my surfing is done on a CB.

I wonder if this AO1 will run the Remix os?

2gig ram not ideal for even multiple open tabs in browser. Best look for more Ram, I added Arch arm Linux to my Chromebook and it runs super smashing from the microsd card.

Gets a panning in the reviews. For example: http://www.trustedreviews.com/acer-aspire-one-cloudbook-14-review

"The main Windows desktop runs fine, so loading the Start menu and moving files around isn't a problem – but most applications show a frustrating amount of lag. Web browsing should be this laptop’s forte, but websites are unusably slow in Firefox, and only slightly better in Chrome.

Microsoft’s Edge browser is better, but still pauses when scrolling around web pages whilst images pop into place, and it even takes a couple of seconds to close a tab. In Microsoft Word, there’s a significant delay between clicking on each item in the ribbon and seeing the changes take place."

Windows simply does not run well with this sort of spec. This sort of machine is just a waste of money.

Pity Toshiba's 1080p chromebook vanished
