Processor Speed 1.6Ghz "
Its 1.33GHz http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=35466 slow cpu but large HDD and 2GB i think this is a good buy.

Pretty good really. Bigger RAM than usual and 250gb HD. I vote hot. My dad has a lower spec Acer and it's better built than my NC10.
#3
I vote cold, it runs on Vista Basic.. Sorry.
#4
good price for the larger screen and res, though not sure i'd ever risk an acer

Utter tosh, having taken apart 4 Acer Laptops, two to respray the faded paint on mouse buttons, another to repair a broken internal power socket, another to troubleshoot fix a none booting problem, as well as a fifth Acer, my own netbook to upgrade the memory I know for a fact there is nothing at all wrong with the build quality of Acer Laptops.

I repair and build PCs and laptops, so this is coming from experience.

Acer laptops have decent build, competitive prices and extremely good LCD Displays in their laptops.

Could be worse, could be crippled with a none intuitive Mac interface.

Spot on. Too many people brainwashed by the sony/apple folks. Build quality of even their cheaper stuff is massively improved from 2-3 years ago.

I have the acer ferrari one, which is built superbly. I guess this shares the housing and perhaps the screen with this. And must say, the 11.6" screen is superb. Black levels are amazing. Just it does run pretty hot with the dual core athlon inside, whereas this should be nice and cool even under use.

LOL.... Utter tosh...? You just listed 4 different occasions you had to perform some sort of maintenance on an ACER product yet put down someone for commenting on a poor-ish build:?

Hi folks, I am out in Spain and need some help before I order the tesco deal. I am a bit out of touch.
Does anybody know the actual part number please.. I am trying to ascertain if this Tesco offer Acer netbook AO751 has bluetooth and 3G.
Also where is the cheapest place to get the Windows 7 upgrade.
Thanks, R.
