A bit harsh I think. It might be an Acer, but it the cheapest I can find that Acer anywhere.

Also, it is a celeron, but that version is faster than the popular Atom N270/280 etc that is so common amongst other similar sized netbooks.

I've got an Aspire One with a similar sized screen. While it's plenty powerful enough I hardly ever use it. Basically, the screen is long and thin, which is competely useless for browsing and working with documents since these are all meant to be viewed in portrait mode.
When it comes down to it, netbooks are really just glorified video players. Though they're great for that, their screens are the wrong shape for anything else.

as per most modern netbooks/laptops 11.6", 12", 13", 15.6" and 17" they are mostly shipped as widescreen even monitors nowadays are the same. I dont think you can buy the original ratio anymore. I use my 11.6" for email, wordprocessing, spreadsheets, and even a little photoshop and no problems. But I do Admit that 10" netbooks are difficult to use 1024 x 768 resolution, which means its usless for the above apps (requires alot of zooming in and out). But I do not think that acer has these issues, but then again i have 20/20 vision...for now.

Very similar but has an ugly battery that sticks out the bottom.
