I think this beats the recently added HP NX AMD Sempron Notebook. It is 64-bit single core cpu with 5.5mb/1mb of on-die cache. It looks like being MS Vista compatible.
Priced else where for around £420+delivery.

Don't forget the 1.5% Quidco cash back.

"powerful 64bit Dual Core system" - Taken from description.

Please be aware that this isnt a Dual Core system.

PS. does anyone know if the memory is 2 x 256 or 1 x 512

I emailed laptops direct and they say it is a 1x512mb stick of memory, so it will be easy to upgrade to 1gb and you should a have a very decent 64bit Vista capable laptop. Cost of 512mb memory would be about £35-45.

Could someone possibly point me in the direction of some cheap memory for these machines?
#6
I would personally go with ebay if you want cheap memory, you could save about £15
#7
Going through Savastore is also free delivery but you get 3% quidco - total £382.67.
#8
Brilliant, the price keeps getting better.

Until it breaks or you find it has errors and you have to buy some decent stuff. I've said it before and I'll keep saying it: RAM is one component that is heavily used by any PC and so buying generic unbranded stuff, especially off eBay, is a false economy. There are good branded RAM out there that are very reasonably priced; my favourite at the moment is OCZ Value which is fairly cheap yet performs as well as their full-priced stuff (it just comes without a heat-spreader). I got a 1GB stick for my laptop a few months ago. Currently £86 from ebuyer.
