Very slow processor for the price...

Poor processor and Graphics, you can get better deals elsewhere with similar ram and HDD specifications.

Windows 7 upgradable and after redeeming would still work out cheaper, better graphics and processor but overall spec remains the same. Frankly the upgrades are simple to perform anyway. But I would prefer a Vista laptop with a faster processor and graphics anyday than a slower machine (processor and GFX) running W7.

And that's just a very short and quick search. If your willing to go down to 320Gb ram and shed a 1gb of ram you can get a very quick machine for the same money. the extra ram wont really make much difference to the overall performance with W7 or vista and if you need the extra 180gb of storage it can easily be replaced with cheap external drives.

If you want more suggestions just ask as I'm sure others can give suggestions as well.

I thought this was great for the money, but it seems a few think otherwise... I'll reserve vote til I have a look around, but I think if someone spent £400 on this they wouldn't be too disappointed!?!

You're right you wont be disappointed. At the end of the day you can search forever and every day find something that little bit better. However, as I and others pointed out earlier the laptops processor is very low end compared to some of the competition. These days you can get a laptop with a processor that will do you good for a couple of years. Where as this processor might not keep up with developments in time, always worth getting the best you can get for the money, hard disks are easy to upgrade as is ram, whereas processors are a pain to try and upgrade in a laptop if not in most cases impossible, and you can forget about graphics.
