I know this is on ebay but its a cracking price for an i3 with an ATI Radeon HD5470 mid-range graphics. Sold new with 12months warrenty. Expect to pay around £550 for a laptop with a graphics card like this. Good enough to play games like COD on decent settings, see here on youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9DZNIqV9as&feature=fvw

plus with 4gb of DDR3 & 320GB & Win 7 its the perfect all around laptop. Looks like theres plenty in stock but cant see this lasting very long.

Intel Core i3-330M Processor
(2.13Ghz, 3MB Cache)
Genuine Windows(R) 7 Home Premium
4GB Memory
320GB Hard drive
Up to 3.5 hours battery life

I saw this today and recommended it on AVForums. I didn't post it here because it's not allowed apparently and the last one I posted like this got deleted.

#5

#6
After saying that few people saying in the feedback that items seem second hand even though they are listed as new.

Outlet deals are allowed.

What exactly does this mean? Is there a list of allowed eBay sellers or is there something on the listing that indicates this is an outlet deal?

Do we know if it is 64 or 32 bit Windows?
#14
looks like an amazing deal! which is an epic shame since i have only just bought a laptop and had to compromise integrated graphics to bring down price, but voted hot

I imagine the GPU would be suitable for StarCraft II on medium settings?

I'd prefer 64 bit Windows for Adobe CS5 work.
#17
I have that gpu and it will run, css, civ5, l4d 1&2 and risen on high settings without to much performance issues.
#18
kh_
crysis on high settings? not expecting much for a sub 400 machine - can get 40-50fps on low settings and might get smooth on medium if wanted.
granted its not the best, but at this price the inability to play crysis on high is almost irrelevant.

http://www.notebookcheck.net/ATI-Mobility-Radeon-HD-5470.23698.0.html says maybe medium if you turn down settings otherwise low no probs

The 4500HD was capable of 1080p but only just so anything newer should be better.

Thanks for answering the question posted about a 5470 with the answer for a intel 4500hd!

Good lad.

OMG! the laptop deals just keep getting better. This machine ticks virtually all the feature boxes a mid-range user might need and at a bargain price too. Must resist........ hide wallet.... i must resist......
#24
With the rest of the specs it would run it on medium no worries
#25
Don't resist! Just bought one X)

Brilliant fast machine for masses
#26
Really tempted...

I do like the notebookcheck reviews as they list the hardware they've tested with. I do think on some games you can make changes that notebook check don't and get away with gasmes they say are unplayable; but they do seem a good guide.

HOT deal by the way :)

This is an absolute steal.

I just bought a 7741G which is pretty much the same as this only slightly fancier in build and with a 17.1" screen but otherwise I would definitely have gone for this one.

EDIT: Don't forget that there's 60% Ebay Quidco on this as well by the way. :)

Great laptop for the price. Listed as new, but if buying you would be better off assuming its a refurb and not be dissapointed. Ive got stuff from there listed as new an though goods working 100% it was definitely used.. worth the price? Maybe if they knocked off another 70quid.
#33
Thanks to the original poster - managed to grab one of the few remaining. Looks like they have all been sold now. No wonder at that price for that spec... but it better be brand new!!!
#34
i bought one of these a few month's back from tesco and the price was £470 then, so excellent price at nearly £100 cheaper.
#35
Wow, all gone, that was quick. :)

Thank goodness they've all gone. Quite frankly, i was wavering at one point, my hand was hovering over my credit card. I dont even need one, it's only four months ago that l bought myself a new bargain laptop. I'll take it one day at a time, 'My name is topazz and i'm a recovering UKHDealer'

Yep. Know how you feel. You've got to be really quick to catch the red hot deals. But onwards and upwards, there's bound to be an equally good deal coming along in the next few days.
