Cold as my freezer oO, for that price you would be expecting at least a second gen i5/i7 processor and dedicated graphics, USB 3.0, etc.
The 5742 is fine as a budget laptop but for a higher spec machine you need a better quality base. Flimsy plastic and wretched sound are out of place. The low spec versions for £300 or so make sense - this does not.
