Not bad, but to get really hot, it will need dedicated graphics at this price (and maybe not be an acer)
I have no problem with Acer as a brand, but agree with the above poster, this should have a dedicated graphics card (and a pretty decent one at that) to command this price, without it it is looking quite expensive. Cold
"A feature of the new Core i5-460M is the integrated graphics card called GMA HD" so should be able to handle HD video and basic games but no Crysis!
The Acer Aspire 5742G for £669 from PC World is more of a bargain...has far better updated specs for the price including dedicated memory
Looks ok to me, so warm for under £500. Not sure where you can get a i5 with dedicated graphics for under £500? Would be nice if you could share your finding please.
this is a good deal. dedicated graphics only required if your into gaming. if not this will be a flawlessly fast laptop. the processor alone had the inbuilt gpu which enhances the HD integrated graphics. You will find this better over most dedicated graphics like the 4570M etc.

Picked up an HP i7 with 1 GB dedicated Graphics Card and 4 GB RAM for £479.99 (refurb) Delivered the other week from Student Computers (they have now run out). Looked Brand new when I got it!!
Very tempted by this but might hold out for usb 3 and Sandy bridge.
