Anyone know if this has an HDMI port? Its not clear from the site but if you google it the same model from other sellers has HDMI.

It does have an HDMI port, also wireless b/g/n rather than just b. Nice laptop for the money!
#3
not a bad price but i personally don't like the build quality on acer laptops. still hot though.

bought this last week, good laptop, onlything about it im not happy with is the mono sound. but other than that it is fine. upgraded the ram from 3gb to 6gb, took the 1gb out and put in a 4gb module.

Looks like a good price for one with Intel i3 and 500 Gb HDD.
#6
Would you really notice stereo separation with both outputs that close?

Bought one on saturday and after brief check i've realized its i3-370m cpu - model as5742-374g50mn (if i remember). Lady at the counter was really suprised , she called tesco HO and they've admitted that there is an error in product description. I've received the refund but waited over 90minutes to get it sorted by tesco staff (even management was involved in this case). I3-370m is only 130mhz slower than i3-380m but for this price you'd get build quality from other manufacturers. Cheers

rather than just b? dont think a laptop has come with just b for a very long time! in fact i think n is the standard now.

Have you tried an Acer recently (last three ish years)? The build quality of Acer's consumer line has really come a long way. I'd even go as far as to say I think they build better cheap laptops than Dell do now.
