Acer Aspire 5750 Intel Core i3-2330M 4GB/1TB 15.6" Notebook/Laptop £329.99 delivered @ Sainsburys

shepherdessshepherdess

This deal is for a brand new laptop & not a refurb. £329.99 including free delivery.

Looks like a good deal for a 2nd generation Core i3 & a whopping 1TB storage space.

This laptop has been posted before, but the price has now been reduced to £329.99.

Has HDMI, 3 x USB ports, but i don't think it comes with USB3, unless i'm mistaken. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

The previous deal from a few days ago was for an i5 for £20 more (I bought it)

    This is still good though!

nice machine. I managed to bag a 320gb version for £240 last may in a dixons pricing error. Its an excellent machine. mine does have usb 3 and an HD webcam. I also got a 3 yr warranty off ebay for about £15

    Hi mate,

How do you go about buying warranties from eBay? I'd like to perhaps purchase an extended warranty for my laptop.

very often you will see warranty upgrades for sale. just search for your manufacturer +warranty. don't seem to be many cheap ones around at the moment but I had the acer and an HP 3 year for less than £20 each. Keep searching. you might even strike lucky with a general google search. As long as you apply it during the first year of ownership its usually fine so you have a fair while to find one.

This same Laptop was £299.99 at the beginning of the month, i missed out on it then, if this is the next best price im very tempted.

Great deal for decent enough performance for average user. Some people will just love the extra space you get with 1TB. Now for the judgement on the cosmetics e.g. keyboard, build quality.

Ahem. it was me who posted the deal for the i5. i bought one as well & it's been delivered already. very quick i thought for free delivery. very nice machine - i am well impressed with it. the stock ran out very quickly, so this deal for the i3 seemed like a decent alternative. had i not bagged the i5, then i probably would have gone for this one. i was sorely tempted to buy the i5 for £399 a week ago, i actually thought that was a great price at the time. i was amazed when i checked on the sainsbury's site to see if it was still in stock & found that the price had dropped by £50. i couldn't contain myself any longer & had to go for it! :3

Just in case anyone else wants to give it a try............picked up the i5 deal that shepherdess posted at £349 yesterday in Sainsburys High Wycombe, found out they had one there by calling customer care line with product code from website and they can see if any stores have stock, as it is still out of stock online.

Great price but it's a shame acer machines now seem **** poor build, these new ones break very easy, screens flimsy keys drop off, case feels very poor.

Shame as Acer used to build very good laptops but now they have flooded the market with this design

you always get this kind of anti-acer stuff cropping up on a deal. they are not the best made in the world not are they the worst. This one is not bad unless you are going to chuck it around and you should then be looking at something more rugged. Just get a cheap 3 year warranty for peace of mind.

I not anti-Acer in any way, I still use one myself but it's an older 6930G much better built, I can only go by how many we get in for repairs, loads of em as they cheaply thrown together, the 5535 and 5735 series where major bad and this series don't seem to be any better.

    Saying that they are cheap.

That"s funny because i have this exact same model since last may and let me tell you there is nothing "cheap" about it.!
Mine has had plenty of heavy usage too and been knocked about alot and iv"e not had one problem with it.
These great little laptops and will serve you well for everyday browsing pics music ect ect..as for the repair thing my cousin repairs laptops and i can"t say iv"e ever once seen an acer on his repair desk it"s always dell.
