  Agree 2nd gen.
  
  Simplistically 2nd gen has 4 digits after the i5 in same way as i5-2500, etc
  
  1st gen were 3 digits after i3 or i5 eg i5-760

  thats a seriously great price for a 2nd gen core i5 laptop. 3rd gen is out soon btw, all those laptops will have usb3 unlike this.

  I don't know why people like you ask these things. £350 laptops NEVER have a dedicated gpu. Dedicated gpu's are only needed for gamers, buy a desktop if you want to game.

  It's HD3000. I have the gaming version of this with the dedicated Nvidia GT540M and it's quite nice. Really dislike the keyboard though. Build quality isn't great.

  If you want a gaming rig, I suggest you stop looking at 350 quid laptops
