As my old laptop is on it's last legs I've been doing some fairly extensive searching for a new one. The price of this one stood out to me for the level of specifications, I'm considering getting it but would appreciate advice from others first as I don't know a massive amount about computers.

I wouldn't say I particularly needed dedicated graphics but I figured it would future proof it just that bit more. Went on the dell outlet this morning and was quite disappointed with the amount of choice, how regularly do they update it?

Does this one look like good value for the overall spec though?
But saying that I wouldn't want to put you off the deal - it's got some heat - if you don't require the graphics card then why pay the additional??
