the 630M is only a few % faster than a HD4000 so what's the point?
Extra cost, weight, heat to have an Nvidia logo? Discrete graphics in a laptop are never a good idea, and after what happened a few years ago with the millions of Nvidia defect laptops having an Nvidia GPU in a laptop is an even worse idea - although I guess they are unlikely to make that mistake again but still...

Build quality for the price, performance is superb - it happily runs Photoshop and Skyrim.
I had plans for swapping a solid state HD in but the resume from hibernation is very quick.
I did have problems with the initial install of Windows 7 which I couldn't get around so did a wipe and reinstall.
I thought my Acer was a cheap budget lappy but when I saw, tried and felt the competition I elevated it to the top, Samsung are also right up there at the top, just my opinion. Core i7 - This is a steal, if I was looking I wouldn't think twice.
