The Acer Aspire 7003WSMI Notebook is powered by an AMD Sempron Mobile Technology 3400+ (1.8 GHz, 256 KB L2 cache) processor and features 512GB of DDR2 533MHz memory and a 120GB hard disk drive. The Aspire's 17" screen is a WXGA Acer CrystalBrite TFT LCD capable of displaying resolutions up to 1440x900 pixels.

Graphics performance comes from the inergrated NVIDIA® GeForce® Go 6100 graphics card with 64MB of shared system memory. This Acer Aspire notebook also features a Sound card for sound output and 8X DVD-Super Multi double-layer drive for creating CDs and DVDs. Navigating software is easy with the built-in touchpad.

The Acer Aspire's operating system is Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition which lets you get the most from your multi-media products. I've never liked laptops with large screens, they certainly are not easy to carry around and they are usually heavy too so resting then on your lap can cause trouble with your knees too. When I had mine (it was a high spec Toshiba) I couldn't find a laptop case to fit it although I am sure that is not a problem these days.

This is a good price for what you get but I'd rather have a desktop than this, at least it's easier to replace any parts or upgrade a desktop.

For around this price you could have got a pretty high spec HP laptop the other week ( if you count the 100 cash back HP were offering) and a lot more portable.

Almost forgot, 53 quid worth of triple points is a bargain as well. This will make a great deal for someone.
