how this processor compare to that on the sammy nc10?
how this processor compare to that on the sammy nc10?

slower i think and like i said above this acer netbook is 1.4" bigger.
cnet review
"Rather than use the Intel Atom N270 CPU that's found in the majority of today's netbooks, Acer has opted for the newer 1.33GHz Atom Z520, which is significantly slower. This fact is reflected in the 751's PCMark05 benchmark score of 1,056, and is noticeable in day-to-day use. It feels slower than rivals like the MSI Wind U115 Hybrid and Asus Eee PC 1000HE and struggles with tasks like smoothly playing BBC iPlayer video in full-screen mode. Its 3DMark06 performance was also poor, with a score of just 83, but we can let that pass because it's the same story no matter which netbook you choose. "
i think thats why the battery life is 4-5 hrs.
OK, 10 more minutes and I've determined that the Z series is single chip design, incorporating HD graphics capability into the processor. This is why it is more expensive.

I think the aim being that the Z series processor can actually go into machines smaller than the 10" mini, and be ultra power efficient by handling more on the same chip. So when you see power consumption figures it is slightly misleading, as in fact the chip is doing more work for that power consumption figure than your N series Atom processor.
by the way, i researched ths info above.. didnt write those myself.. but

Z is better than N
found some bad reviews about the retailer from this topic
"Just a warning for anyone looking to purchase a laptop.

A summary of this pathetic excuse for a company:-

They charge you to check the laptop is working before shipping!
I didnt take this service and received a dead one.
They refused to refund my Saturday delivery charge even as a gesture of goodwill.
They insisted I use the manufacturer warranty even though I received it dead from them.
Eventually after much arguing arranged for a refund. They collected the laptop(after trying to make me pay for the return), then they sent another one!
Still trying to get my money refunded over a month after they receivied the laptop back, excuses galore - cant see it in their stock etc (even though it is their delivery firm bringing it back to them).

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with on the net and almost makes me want to cease with Internet Shopping.

Just had a saveonlaptops deal pulled by moderator. Apparently they are not suitable for hotukdeals! Expect this one may disappear soon too.
an alternative to this is MEDION AKOYA E1312 11.6" Netbook @ Aldi AMD CPU (faster than Atom) 1GB 160GB HDMI 3yr warranty 1366x768 pixels from this deal
I'd agree with post number 2.

I can't really understand why you'd want HD on a laptop with an 11" screen.......and no hd drive.

Yes you can buy an external HD DVD drive at extra cost, or download HD content, but is there any point on an 11" screen ?
