Good deal.

That sounds very good !

Good deal for the money if you just want to do surfing and watching DVDs. You can only run Vista and need to run Acer bloadware (which makes it a slow laptop). Screen is very good.

Do you really HAVE to run the Acer stuff? I removed it from my Acer desktop, shortly after I bought it. I can't think of any reason you couldn't do the same on a laptop.

personally if i were gonna spend this sort of money on a laptop I would buy an inspiron from the dell outlet. I have bought 4 laptops from there in the past and all have been brilliant.
I'm looking to buy one right now, and seeing as there is free delivery and £60 off @ the outlet site you'll get an inspiron 1525 with 160gb hard drive, vista home premium, 2gb and intel dual core for around £310.

worth the extra £10 in my opinion

I'm afraid you need to run the Acer "Powertechnology" software on a laptop because the fan is not hardware regulated. Without it will overheat.

I'm afraid you need to run the Acer "Powertechnology/Empower" software on a laptop because the fan is not hardware regulated. Without it will overheat.
