Should point out this has 4mb cache, which is in between the premium 6mb cache models and the budget 2mb cache model CPUs... I expect however Dell Vostro 1700 deal could beat this but that WUXGA 1920X1200 display at this price is nice.

I just hope people understand this is a portable desktop system really spec and size wise and not a mobile laptop as such.
it was the 512mb gfx card that got me. dell wont beat that.
Voted cold as I don't see the point of HD on a 17" screen.

Could build a nice quad sff desktop with HD/Blu ray for less.

This is an older 65nm Core 2 Duo CPU which came with either 2 or 4MB cache. The newer 45mn Core 2 Duos have either 3 or 6MB.
I’d go for a 45nm 3MB over a 65nm 4MB as the newer chips are a bit better all round but not a dramatic improved except for the rarely used SSE4 instructions.
Wow this deal is COLD like the North Pole!!
