Be warned this is a crackin deal, i bought at a similar price 6 months ago, BUT i bought with the intention of getting a winodws 7 upgrade which you don't get, no problem bought it outright installed and does not work correctly with the Acer media panel and to this day Acer have not released a fix and if you have ever had to contact them you will feel my pain.

Voted hot though as the sum of it's parts are a bargin ;-)

Oh sorry missed the spec i got a better CPU has VT extentions also but video card was on'y 512 (o.k. deal)

Yeah I would say this deal is average.
I just bought myself this for £520.

The only difference is screen size / wuxga and graphics card (which are pretty much on par from reviews.

The speakers on these are outstanding for laptop speakers, excellent graphics card on this... the best for this price... and also note this has a very good webcam and built in microphone!

What's the interpolation like on laptops these days? If it's anything like as bad as cheap desktop monitors I'd avoid a high resolution screen like this if you want to game as it will look awful at the sort of resolution you'll commonly be using with a laptop graphics card.
