I posted a cheap i3 laptop deal a few days ago but your gaming lappy comes down to your budget...
The MSI GX660R seems to be the best sub-£1000 gaming laptop imo.

Same machine that is sold in argos here for £400. Read a thread about it here: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/acer-aspire-5553-quad-core-320gb-49/776992 and the processor is faster than some intel i5s and i7s:

Hot deal but I don't need a laptop :(

for gaming laptop my budget is about 500-600.

Cold voters on the £359 - please let me know where I can get something better value for an entry level laptop that will be good for 2-3 years?

Won't get much of a gaming gpu for that sort of budget.

Indeed.
If your budget is that low, I'd get an entry level i3 desktop & stick a £100-£200 GPU in it.
