hmm touch screen
if dont need that then can get better for less
might be good for people with kids who like to poke the screen though!

I really rather like this after watching a couple of youtube videos. Just wondering how much is the Touch screen adding to the price

Probably around £50-£70. Not too much.

Sorry for bad english, I just would like to know if I can play Starcraft 2 with a decent framerate and image quality with this VGA (nVIDIA GeForce GT 310M)

I have this laptop, so here are some thoughts if they will help anyone.

Pros - Nice keyboard, relatively slim design, decent screen, touch screen offers novelty, decent overall performance (not up to hardcore gaming though)
Cons - Very little software that makes use of the touchscreen, not hugely generous on hard drive space (320gb), doesn't seem quicker than my previous Acer which had a Pentium T7300 chip, speakers seem to be taken from a Fisher price Activity Set - they really are feeble!

In short, this is a decent low to mid-range laptop. You could probably get one with a better processor (I5 or I7) for the same price without the touchscreen.

Sorry but I don't see a good deal here.
Out of date CPU, low end GPU for basic gaming, low resolution screen for such a size, this laptop will plummet in value as soon as you buy it.

How good is the battery life?

Since VGA stands for video graphics adaptor, the sentence actually kind of works even if he didn't say 'card'. A brief google suggests that the 310m VGA should run fine with SC2.

Too expensive, over-priced, over-rated.

That's a good spec laptop, but the price is too high.
Here is a good alternative Click Me

It has the new i5 Sandy Bridge processor which is quite a lot faster than the i5 480m, & the 6370M graphics card will also be slightly faster than the 315m in the Samsung.
You should be able to run games such as Left 4 Dead 2 & Star Craft 2 on medium quality settings & get decent frame rates.

I personally think this is not a hot deal at all.

2 days ago, I posted a deal : Dell Inspiron 15R (i3-380M, HD5650, 500Gb HDD, 4 Gb Ram) + Free Printer, 2 days delivery at only 474 quid, after voucher 25 quids off and potentially get 10% from Quidco, making it 430 quids for this 15 inch laptop and the printer. Offers end on 27 April 2011.

I didnt understand why my post was marked as spam, but if anyone of you is looking to buy a laptop, it's not too late if you act now! :D

VGA is also a graphics resolution standard, meaning 640x480.

1366x768 is WXGA

It's worth about £350, not £500.

True, but it was clear despite the language problems what the OP was asking; he definitely wasn't asking if he could play Starcraft 2 in a 1987 graphics mode.
