Looks Hot! Good price to include an optical drive - and enough RAM to cope with Vista!
and even more cope with Windows 7
What's the battery life like? Also, can anyone find any reviews?

There's also this one for a bit less:

careful...unless I am confused I think the description doesn't match the model

the model number is a low power netbook...reasonable at £175
the description however is too good to be true for this price, core 2 duo + dvd + 2gb ram for £175, I think not
I think the Acer Direct website have messed up title or description of this laptop. I agree with tubbyasstoo about Acer Aspire One not being a Core2.

The pic is for an Acer but eMachine is totally different company, if I'm not wrong. eMachine has got the model eMachine D620. Also processor is a Notebook processor. May be if there is less confusion people will make their decision more easily.

Emachines are part of Acer and often get billed as Acer Emachines.

This certaininly does seem to be the D620 which tends to sell for £249 - £289 so despite the weak single core processor it's a good price for a basic laptop.
Is it worth getting this on the offchance it might be the right model.

Acer aspire one A150L
is it just me or are there no buy options on these pages?

suggesting there is definately something up with that site
This one doesn't look too shappy either for £300
4Gb RAM, 320GB HD, Intel Core 2 Solo Processor, 8 Hours battery life.

but I can't find a way to add any of them to the basket. I'm on my girlfriend's ancient laptop at the moment so it could be her browser.

EDIT : It's not my browser then...just seen the above post. Dodgy company maybe then?

EDIT : The £300 one looks even better having read this

buy of course it has to exist at £300 to be a great buy

EDIT : Does the company even exist reading these reviews?

Doesnt look good, shame there are a few bargains on there !
Trying to find a normal phone number for them I found this for the address. Doesn't look like a business area.... a semi detached house according to this link

See this link as it's not the first time this company has caused the same issue :
