Thanks for posting and you have done it right. :D

Not a bad price but you can get it slightly cheaper from Best Buy: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/acer-aspire-one-d255-netbook-all-co/835206#comments

Don't let that put you off posting deals in the future.

The 15% off code makes buying anything (over £50) worthwhile at the moment... I used it to purchase a Cooker on Sunday which I saved £90 on :).

donot buy anything from Best Buy (worst buy). They have a very bad returns policy. There is a staocking or stacking charge on all returns even if you have a gift recipt that is being advertised on their website and instore.they charge you 10% on all returns which dont say when you buy things from them.
I had a laptop for 3days returned it and got charged 10% of thr retail price.
Beware of their their policy when you buy from them.

A bunch of theives.

When looking for deals for netbooks i saw the one posted in this deal on shopacer http://www.simplyacer.com/Acer_Aspire_One_533_971088.html It seems to state all the Acer Aspire one 533 range have LED screens and a Intel Atom N455 Processer and unlike the description on the Homebase site it's 1 DDR3 ram. Please can someone tell me whats the difference between an LED and LCD screen is and whether this processer is any good. I need it for uni for my daughter. Thanks!

The netbooks are probably exactly the same, and its just an advertising error about the memory.

The processor is similar to the Atom N270 but uses a little less electricity so should give a slightly longer battery life but its only by a small amount.

when they say LED screen they just mean it uses LED lights at the back of the screen to light it - its still an LCD screen but shops often just call them LED. Most if not all netbooks use LED backlights

Can't see where it mentions DDR3 but its a bit faster than DDR2 but I dont think its all that much or whether you would really notice it with a netbook.

Hope that some help
