I like the way it doesn't mention the 8gb SDD in the main specs but sneeks it in the blurb.

"The Aspire one is more than just another ultra-mobile netbook: it's an all-new communication device designed to deliver continuous access to the internet and a simplified wireless experience no matter where you are. The Aspire one was designed to get you online in no time at all and thanks to the Linux Lite operating system, start up and shut down times are reduced to the minimum. With the Aspire one running on the Linux environment, the simplicity continues with the intuitive and specifically optimized software interface. Acer's Aspire One is equipped with an Intel Atom processor, specially designed for low-cost UMPC's. Other features include an 8.9-inch screen, 512 megabytes of RAM, a built-in WiFi connection and a 8GB flash Hard Drive."

Why is this being voted cold? It's a great price for a great UMPC.

OK, it's a poor spec compared to normal sized laptops, but that completely misses the point of these devices (made popular by the Asus Eee PC). If I didn't have my Eee, I'd be buying one of these in a flash.

AFAIK http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/product/seo/705895 is the same model and you can pick up instore with no delivery charge.

Maybe that's why? And also I think it's been posted before for PCW/Currys.
