I'm hanging on til the new year, see what happens (if anything) in the new year sales?

We haven't seen AMD's dual core low watt offering. Which should be out early next year (AMD is sposed to be releasing info in November)...

The dual core offering from amd is going to be a low power amd althon 64 .. so should blast both the dual core atom and single core atom out of the water.

So it may well be best to wait. Also 16gb ssd's will be hitting the acers in December.

I bought the 512mb version for 219 from pcworld couple days ago, he could cut the price to 200 straight away if i signed up to some pay and go insurance which i could cancel after 1 month and 1st month didnt cost me anything... so plenty of room it seems for the price to drop much further!
