Gonna be really annoying and point out that if you are asking if something is a good deal or not then you shouldn't really be posting it in the first place. If you post something then you should know it is a deal. If you are not sure then you can ask people on the forums. As it happens it does look like a good price!

If battery life off the mains is important this is a 3 cell model and not the one to go for. If under 3 hours battery life without needing to plug in is ok then this would be a good buy.

I have a Compaq Mini 311c and just found that Cyberlink PoweDirector works great, which I guess is down to the Nvidia Ion graphics. I doubt any of those with the mainstream intel graphics would run it, certainly not at any satisfying speed anyway.

The other option for me at the time I ordered was the Samsung n510 but that was £400 then, another £100. Integrated WWAN, and Ion LE that could be hacked to full Ion, plus DDR3 Ram upgradeable to 3gb swung the deal for me

£100 is quite close to what you'd spend to get an official 6 cell battery for this (the cheap ones are not necessarily that good note http://www.liliputing.com/2008/11/high-capacity-netbook-batteries-the-good-the-bad-and-the-ugly.html ). All horses for courses though of course, depends how much you need each feature versus how much cash you're willing to part with. Helps to be informed rather than find out later and think I've wasted my money, I wanted it to do ..... I wish someone could have told me :)
