With that amount of RAM it will struggle to work XP, it will only run linux well.

+1. It's quite easy to bung in another 1GB of RAM for about 15-20 quid.

It will run XP fine - personal experience, having had one of these (would still have it if the power connector hadn't snapped off)

Depends what your definition of 'easy' is. I don't think it is particularly difficulty but seeing as you have to disassmble the machine to upgrade the RAM, others might not agree.

I upgraded the RAM on my A150.
To say it's "easy" is stretching it a little. Myself and my Dad have years of experience of building computers, handling components etc, but between us it took over 2 hours to do!
Still, it does make a difference to the performance!

I printed out a guide from the web it took me 45 mins. It got a bit scary at times though.

It is far from easy as I have done it, well not quite. I got my freind who is a computer technican to help, glad I did! When I up graded it works xp better but it is very slow compared to the other similar net book I have, same spec with Linux, that flys along.

[FONT=Verdana]I know from previous deal threads for the AAO 110 and 150 that members did frequently hit snags when doing the upgrades - having to take it practically to pieces is not an easy process; doable yes but not easy! :)

Cheers, Scotty Boy!
