Thats a 1GB ram version this is a 2GB version

Yes but adding 1gb of ram is easy changing the processor is not!:)
Ok thanks guys :)

I am not very Tecchy minded - price compared and it was a good price for this version of it - and it has dropped in price since last posted. Thats about as far as my knowledge goes on this. Thats why I'm always glad to have the wealth of expertise from other HUKD users on hand, so thanks

Walks away sulking * thought I had a good deal * ....
I think if people want a windows based version this is better value as it has the dual core Atom processor and a larger hard disk and windows 7. Also comes with the wireless keyboard & mouse that the Linux version doesn't.

Not worth buying.

The DUAL CORE one is twice the speed and far more usable. And with only 1GB Ram it is still twice the speed!
With double speed being out I would not touch the single core version with a barge pole.

It is why the dual core is currently banned from netbooks.
Noone would want the single core version so for now it is banned.
