This beautiful looking laptop with a dedicated gpu has always hovered around the £700 mark, £899 RRP. This is practically a ultrabook with a dedicated gaming graphics card.

It's the cheapest it has ever been (according to Camel - )

Not in stock at the moment, but order now for the lower price.

Review from notebookcheck giving it 88%:

lenovo z50-70 is only £520 at Amazon... with 8gb ram.

£599 for me on amazon.
Pretty good sped I'd say (IPS 1080p screen, 2.5" slot of SSD, etc.) I say but 4GB rather kills it if you plan to use it for a few years...
Gaming graphics card is rather pushing it, it's got a 1920x1080 screen resolution which is awkward for anything except watching videos and the memory is soldered on and not upgradeable.

It's a reasonable price for the quality. Given it's shortcomings I wouldn't consider it a scorcher, but hot.

No its not 599....just 519.99
That GPU is weak for gaming at 1920x1080 it's gona be a low fps slide show.

Somebody mentioned that this laptop has its Dr soldered on.... Is that true? Anyone got a link to this or is it false?
I believe that this was made as an ultra portable laptop in mind but with some graphics to allow you to do more than the usual ultrabook would, though not a dedicated gaming laptop, it allows some gaming on the run.
The quality of the product is also really nice, it follows suit from the Acer aspire S7 ultrabook which ranges from £700-£1.1k+, hence the design is really similar.
Had this been the price when i was first looking for a laptop, i would have purchased it :)
I recommend reading the notebookcheck review for in depth details, keep in mind that this laptop came out last year (iirc) hence the specs may not be up to 2015 standards
