Specs look decent, worth noting that the graphics card is the NON-Ti version.
#2
whats the difference with the non- ti? much difference?

just to let you know my quidco has innitially tracked at £26.97, not that it means much at the moment!

thanks

I would be all over this except it has a TN screen, rather than an IPS one. I think once you've got used to IPS, you would always feel TN was a bit of a downgrade. The new Dell Inspirion 7000 and the new MSI GL62M have also been panned for using bad TN screens but the Lenovo Y520, which apparently gets launched over here in April, deffo has an IPS screen and is supposed to be cheap. I'm going to wait and see...

Oh, and here's a decent review of this laptop...

Expect about 30% of a difference based on these.

Saying that the 1050 looks more than adequate for most gaming.

according the AO the guys i just ordered from it states it has an IPS display in their spec

I just read the review you posted and in the comments there is a dispute around which regions come with IPS screens and which dont.. seems ours does!?

I ideally want either a super light laptop or one with atleast a 1050ti but this is a good deal. Has all very good specs.
I can't seem to find any laptops which are under £1000k with a 1050ti. Over 1k isn't worth the upgrade imo.

Nice deal heat from me.

I've had my eye on this http://store.hp.com/UKStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=1DN33EA&opt=ABU&sel=NTB&lang=en-GB&utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=facebook_gb&utm_content=laptops_nonbuyers for a few days. Shame it's only 8gb though... and you can't upgrade the ram yourself without it being a massive PITA either.

ive got a personal voucher code that will add a further 15% to other offers ie 10% so 25% discount - is this a good deal at around £688? in the market for a decent laptop any better for the money?
#9
this is 200 cheaper to be fair

@ £793 with qudico i thought this was a good deal? apparently not..
#10
jeez how did you get that 15% code?

I didn't think you could get the Y520 with the 1050 Ti yet in the UK?

jeez how did you get that 15% code?
I bought some other things recently, and last week they sent me a personal code 15% off any item over £399, valid until end of feb, it stacks with other offers, but not other vouchers

Hi definitely IPS? Screen is good colours brightness? Could you please post some pictures? Or do some nice YouTube review

Well I just received my 2017 591G tonight, bought from VERY for £800 and I can tell you that it definitely doesn't have an IPS screen. The part number on the back is NHGM2EK001. This is also the part number stated on AO.com. I am disappointed as I was led to believe this had an IPS screen.
