Would rather get a laptop for around the same price and spec than this.
Would rather get a laptop for around the same price and spec than this.

not everyone wants or needs a laptop
good deal but bit of a waste to watch blu ray movies on a desktop pc, if you had a laptop you can easily connect the laptop the tv via hdmi. i dont think the integrated card has hdmi, if im mistaken please corrwct me.
Personally I'm not sure this is such a great deal. I'm not intending to start the age old "build yourself one" debate but I did build a Phenom-II system with 8GB of RAM and a 1GB Nvidia 9500GT (ok, low end, but beats the 7100 integrated graphics hands down) for somewhere around £360.

Blu ray I don't have, but it's all marketing they're cheap enough now (£60?). The monitor's maybe 80-100?

if you want to word process and web surf, maybe watch a film, go for it. Just don't expect it to be a powerhouse.
