An excellent Chromebook and this seems like an decent price for a refurb. There was a similar off the other day that I'll link to, comments on the quality of the machines received seemed to be very good. Just one with one dead pixel reported.

Previous Thread - As mentioned, a previous post for the 16GB version with some comments from members on what they received here. Feedback seemed good, just one machine with 1 dead pixel. Users were able to claim the Google Chromebook Goodies here including the 100GB Google Drive space for 2yrs.

Yep mine came in plain brown box marked grade B+ which worried me. Acer don't do grade B so don't know where that came from but it was marked as having "missing instruction manual"

In the box was the c720 with charger nothing else

The chromebook still has all plastic on screen and frame and not a mark on it besides a very very light blemish in the plastic on the underside beside the fan grill and I went over the whole thing to see as expected there to be something else given the price. Nope.

So no original box, just the Chromebook and charged and works like a dream really fast and after setting up all the apps I wanted I haven't used my other laptop yet as this is just so instantaneous. From off you open the lid and its on

There is no better Chromebook in the UK at this time for performance besides the £1000+ pixel.

Great deal

To be fair All chromebooks perform like this. The C720 is no better or worse in this respect. Thats the chromebook experience.

Now if you had said there was no better chromebook in the uk at this time that performs for this price i would have agreed with you ;-)

I've tried most of them and my favourite is the HP 14" chromebooks....yes more money but with 4Gb ram and a slightly bigger screen i think they are worth the extra.

There had to be more than one as I ordered one myself (at this price it's a bargain!), I checked the site an hour later and it still said in stock.

I say this due to it having 2GB ram (4GB isn't readily avail in the UK) and running an intel dual core haswell processor which most uk stock don't eg the HP 11 or Samsung Chromebook. The HP 14 granted has the has well I believe but its far from the price point of the 11" options. The dell 11 is a beast but only in the usa. Later this year the new Chromebooks should surface so we will see. But I appreciate your point

Not sure anyone will see this but I've received the chromebook today and it was like new.
It's now also running Ubuntu 14.04, pretty well I might add!

Top stuff. Glad you got the one, or one of the two it seemed they had in stock. Claimed your 'goodies'?
