Be nice its my first post so be kind, is this a good deal i know laptops price are going down but i thought as it is a dual core its pretty good

Not a bad lappy but save yer self a few quid and get the Vostro 1510 for £281 with free router .
as posted by mikeT sliglty better cpu as well.

You choose to compare the CPU but not the RAM, this has twice as much.

Worth a few quid to avoid Dell.

Only chose to compare cpu as 1gb ram is ample for xp, and if needed ddr2 is @rock bottom prices at the moment. so you would still save forty odd quid even if you bought an xtra gig:)
