It is a good tablet but not the best. It's certainly the heaviest honeycomb tablet. Might also be worth considering the Asus eee pad transformer with keyboard / battery dock for £430.

Not a red hot deal, but this does have a free case and 3 year warranty so if you are after this model it's not a bad deal.
Nearly eight hours late but might be info for those having a weekend shop. If anyone is interested in technology they will view QVC @ midnight on weekends. Usually either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday from midnight there will be up to two hours of electronics on offer. The T.S.V. will be an electronic product usually new to market @ a special price for only 24 hours. The Acer Iconia A500 is the T.S.V. for Saturday. The T.S.V. for Sunday from midnight will be from Fuji.

Absolute terrible deal. Not an offer in the slightest. Ordered mine from the US - $445 which is £277-£289.

This country is a rip-off, thank goodness for this website!

There is no mystery. It is just one of the Price strategy they are following.
In there defence you are not the target customer. Yet! :)
