It does support HDCP but I don't think it has any audio out. I have the older none zero frame KA270H which has the same basic specs as the VA panel in this. It's a nice enough 1080p display, will overclock to 75hz and despite what some people say 1080p looks fine once you sit a little back from it.

Is there such a huge difference between the VA panel and an IPS one?

Also, is it a reflective glass on the front or the better, non-reflective stuff?

It is also this price in Tesco with free C&C to get it sooner than 5 days.

They're none glare.

As for how it compares with IPS, blacks are blacker so VA has that as an advantage. But for general colour IPS is slightly better. But you would have to have them side by side to see the difference unless we're talking about a a high end IPS monitor.

No headphone jack, so you cant use with consoles :) Good Price however for use with PCs :)

There is usually a noticeable difference between a good VA & IPS in terms of colour reproduction and viewing angles but at least it's not TN. I wouldn't worry about it at this price unless you're coming off a good IPS.

As for 1080 vs 1440 @ 27", there's a considerable difference but unless you've actually used 1440, it won't matter. I used 27" @ 1080 for a really long time and loved it. Only after I made the jump to [email protected]" I found I couldn't drop back to 1080.

Good price

Options for consoles would either be the optical audio out, or an audio receiver with HDMI pass through. But otherwise it's not ideal for console use.

will the 60Hz refresh rate be a hinderance for gaming? ive heard you want to be around 120Hz

Unless your PC is powerful enough to run games at 100+fps, don't worry about it.

Just bought this from Tesco as per Gastonite's helpful post. From my modest research it seems to me that if (like me) you need to ask, then you won't notice - especially for this price.

I've just bought a new fairly decent PC, and have been toying with various options, but I want two monitors ultimately and thought this would suffice until a bit more highly specced bargain comes along.
