Curry's estimate for battery life is usually pretty good from my experience of (just one) purchase.
Also, dedicated graphics card is quite good - useful for HD and old games (but don't expect to play anything too new on it - you'll just be disappointed.

Actually no, include the cost of windows 7 to the first 2. Check all buying options and there isn't a good price on amazon. The model on tesco has a lower capicity battery.

The Toshiba is OK but a really poor GFX card.

Good effort to look for alternatives.

Its running a AMD, only recommend to light gamers as if you want everyday reliability chose Intel. Nice price though.
its pretty decent actually., plays sims 3 (tested instore with my copy).
acer webcam is good too

toshiba from tesco is a smaller screen at 15.4 with no dedicated GFX chip.

the ATI radeon HD range is great for HIdef rips from Demonoid to TV via the HDMI out
I am tempted at this price
